Abandoned Mill

This is an abandoned mill in Bamber Bridge, Lancashire. A work colleague told me about this building after passing and viewing it from the motorway. So curiosity got the better of me and I had to go down and have a look. I ended up speaking to one of the resistance who told me a lot of history of the building and the demise of the company that owned it and what is the plans for the building and the land. The picture was taken on my iPhone 4 and post processing done on the "SnapSeed" app.

I got speaking to James whilst I was out in Blackpool town. The day had been rough for him, people calling him names, putting used chewing gum into his collection pot.
After to chatting to him for a while it was heartbreaking to see how much he didn't want to be on the street.
Life can deal you a crappy hand sometimes but James just seemed to deal with it, no matter how bad things are people like James make me realise that kindness costs nothing and how lucky I am.
